The 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC Will Be Coming Soon to Alderson European Motors Lubbock

Electric cars are the future. Mercedes-Benz realizes this, and that's why they'll soon be offering the first-ever all-electric Mercedes-Benz vehicle - the 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC. At first glance, the new EQC will look like a typical SUV crossover, but its grille and headlamps will be combined in a sleek black-panel surface in the front, an arrangement accentuated by an LED light band at the top. It will come standard with a lit-up three-pointed star logo on the front. Sculpted side panels, a slanted roof, and a smooth back end with taillights integrated into its liftgate will complete the EQC's distinct styling. The EQC will come with an all-new drive system, and drivers in the Lubbock and Plainview areas will be able to come see it soon at Alderson European Motors Lubbock.

The EQC will be built on the same basic platform as the Mercedes-Benz GLC, but more than 85 percent of its parts and components will be totally new. People in the Levelland and Wolfforth areas who want an SUV that can get around in rough conditions will appreciate that the EQC will come standard with a new all-wheel drive system. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC will have compact electric drivetrains at each axle, producing 402 horsepower and 564 pound-feet of torque. It will be able to fast-charge from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes, so it'll be ready to go when you are. Unlike some electric cars, the EQC will boast very quick acceleration, going from 0 to 60 in just 4.9 seconds.

Inside, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC will have an all-new MBUX media system that will respond to the driver´s natural, conversational language. This system will help govern the car´s functions and will "learn" over time. Its digital widescreen cockpit will come with a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch media display, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Standard safety features on the new EQC will include Active Brake Assist, Speed Limit Assist, and the Mercedes-Benz PRE-SAFE® system. Optional driver assistance features will include Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC®, Active Blind Spot Assist, and Active Lane Keeping Assist. Drivers in the Amarillo and Lubbock areas won't be able to experience the 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC right now, because it won't be released until later this year. Contact Alderson European Motors Lubbock to schedule a test drive soon.
