Guide on How to Jump Start Another Car

The need to jump start a car might make you stressed at first, but it does not have to be complicated. Take a car with a charged battery and jumper cables to give it enough of a charge so that your dead car starts again.

The positive and negative clamps on the jumper cables must be matched up with the positive and negative terminals of the dead and working batteries. Start up the good car after this. The dead battery will be infused with a charge. As long as you keep the cars hooked up for one to two minutes, this should be enough of a charge. Try turning your engine over now to see if the battery will take the charge. If it does, you need to keep it running for at least 15 minutes.

Replace your car battery with help from the service team at Alderson European Motors Lubbock.
